Flies can cause nuisance as they can rest on gutter line, garbage, dung and other unhygienic material and then to our fooding material which can cause food contamination & food poisoning which can transmit some disease carrying organisms. They also lay their eggs on manure and also on food material.Â
FLY MANAGEMENT - Â The treatment was divided in two parts
They can more problematic in rainy season as their breeding was high in rainy seasonÂ
Chemical Treatment - Â The infested area like garbage area, common portion, staircase, passage, dusk bins are sprayed with chemical having residual effect.Â
For inside premises fly bait was used as bait is kept in a dish, the flies get attracted to bait, they suck the bait and get died.
Mechanical Measures - Â The mechanical devices are used like air curtains, fly catcher, insect catcher.
Placing of these devices at proper position can avoid the entry of flies & also other small flying insect to enter in the premises.
