The flying insects responsible for causing so many sever diseases like malaria, dengue, chikun gunia, Yellow fever, Japanese Encephalitis, with which world was fighting with great efforts, but they causing more damage to human health day by day and human filling effort less. The world health organization was also trying to control this situation but they also don’t get satisfactory output, the patients of Malaria, Chikun guinea are increasing in large number.Â
Anoheles Spp - The Anopheles Stephensi species of mosquito was responsible for causing the malaria disease. They laid eggs singly. The anopheles Stephensi breeds in fresh water collection like water tank, overhead tanks, and rain water collected in tarpaulin, tyres & water wells.Â
Culex Spp - Â Laid their eggs in cluster (raft)in the mud or on surface of water or where water is accumulate
Aedes Spp - Â laid eggs in fresh water like rain water collection, in tyres, tarpaulin, plastic bottles etc.
Anopheles Stephensi - Â Malaria,
Culex Spp - Â Filariasis, Japanese Encephalitis,Â
Aedes Egypt is - Â Chikun Guniya, DengueÂ
Mosquito Control Treatment - Â The treatment was divided in two parts :Â
1) Larval Management, 2) Adult Management.
The mosquito passes through 4 instars egg, larva, pupa & adult. In this larval stage is the weakest stage of mosquito life cycle & it was easy to control by spraying the breeding places thoroughly by using suitable Larvicide.
The water collected area & all water bodies present at the site are sprayed thoroughly by hand compression spray pump. The larval stage is completed in 4 to 10 days so it is necessary to treat the water bodies on weekly interval.Â
Adult Management - Â Residual Spraying- The spraying will be done by using chemical having residual effect, all possible resting places of mosquito are treated like labour hutments, garbage area, toilet bathroom, darken places, ducts etc. are sprayed thoroughly.
FOGGING - Â The fogging will be done by using fogging machine, the ultra low volume form chemical is used which is mixed in diesel & fogging is done at the time of dusk hours as the frequency of mosquito is high at that time.
The only recommended and approved chemicals by CIB & RC are used for mosquito control. Â
